The Sempati Hotel provides great value within a friendly atmosphere and is just a few minutes walk from a quaint sandy beach cove and jetty with panoramic sea views.
This welcoming, well established hotel graces its guests with a brilliant choice of accommodation, including comfortable hotel rooms and suites overlooking the pool and the sea beyond, poolside traditional mini –villas with private terraces as well as the recent addition of superior mountain view rooms, set in freshly landscaped, pretty Mediterranean gardens. Their large kidney-shaped pool, set in extensive sun-bathing terraces and attractive gardens is a wonderful place for guests to lounge around together and enjoy a holiday atmosphere with refreshing drinks brought to their sunbeds.
Although the Sempati Hotel is situated in a relatively secluded and quiet area, there is always something going on in and around the hotel, as its own cosy bar provides evening entertainment during the summer months and a few bars in the vicinity are also popular with the local ex-pat community. The popular Lapta Coastal promenade is also on its doorstep, which offers a 1.5km stretch of stunning coastal views. All-round it is a good choice offering excellent value for money.

If you enjoy walking, the Lapta Coastal walk is very fortunately just behind the Sempati Hotel! It’s the most popular promenade along the stunning coastline of Kyrenia, so make sure you take your camera - the amazing views are not to be missed! There’s also a 10pin bowling club close by and small boat rides can be enjoyed at Sardunya Bay (located at the end of the coastal walk)!
It’s really easy to get a bus from here if you want to venture out as the bus stop is on your right hand side as soon as you hit the main road. If you fancy a bite to eat, The Silver Rocks restaurant, only a 2 minute ride (towards Kyrenia) is a huge favourite in this area. Whether it’s just a coffee, drink at the bar or a fantastic meal looking over the coast you’re after, this restaurant really is the perfect choice. The Wild Duck is another great place,that makes a nice stop for lunch (about a ten minute walk from the hotel towards Karsiyaka), It is also great for children with its small park outside and local animals to enjoy. For night time entertainment, there’s JK’s bar only a 2 minute walk from the hotel or The Fly Inn & The Cabin on the popular Lapta Strip, no more than a 5 minute ride away.
A small and charming sandy beach is situated within 100 meters to the hotel. Although it’s a public beach, it offers privacy and tranquillity and a real Mediterranenan feel with its turquoise crystal waters, silky sands and pretty rocks.
A Large kidney shaped freshwater swimming pool, with separate children’s section and a spacious sun-bathing terrace is set within the lovely gardens of the hotel. It provides a central place for holiday makers to top up their tans and enjoy a friendly pool service, whilst making new friends in the sun.
Breakfast & Dinner are served in the St. Hilarion restaurant usually as an open buffet, consisting mainly of traditional food made with fresh local ingredients. Alternative meals can be served as a la carte or set menu. There is also a children's menu, ensuring the kids always have some of their favourite foods to choose from. In summer there are tables outside on the terrace to enjoy poolside dining and occasional live music under the stars. The Café Bar serves drinks, light lunches and homemade snacks throughout the year.
The Sempati Cafe Bar is great for socialising, playing games, and enjoying a drink in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Cyprus Nights, with live music and Barbecue Nights often take place during the summer season around the pool area. Their Sports Bar enjoys the screening of matches as well as table football, billiards, table tennis and darts. There is also a Diving Club administered by Sempati Hotel, and run with conjunction with PADI, connected to the Turtlebay Dive Center, with instruction by a professional and experienced instructor.
