Ideally set in the foothills of the Kyrenia mountain range, midway between the historic village of Bellapais and the town of Kyrenia, the Altinkaya Holiday Resort is a popular choice for couples. The whitewashed resort is surrounded by alluring gardens creating a tranquil atmosphere. An outdoor swimming pool is conveniently complemented by a poolside snack bar to enhance guests' stay.

If you enjoy walking you can take the ancient Crusader Path from the village of Ozankoy to the beautiful village of Bellapais. Instead of heading for Kyrenia from the Altinkaya, go east to Ozankoy village. You will find the Ozankoy Bookshop in the heart of this traditional village, and they will give you directions. It is quite an easy walk and well worth the views when you get there! The Ozankoy Carob festival is held in August, a great insight into local traditions and culture.
