The Citrus Tree Gardens is an intimate complex, great for couples and families seeking the privacy of simple, self-catering accommodation, with the convenient facilities and service of a hotel. It offers a choice of spacious, comfortable, traditional accommodation with just 19 studios, 6 one bedroom and 2 two bedroom duplex villas. Some studios are in the main building, others are dotted around the freshwater swimming pool, set in beautiful gardens. There is a plethora of space to sunbathe and relish the tranquil atmosphere. In summer the bright and airy whitewashed villas are draped with colourful bougainvillea, providing its guests with a truly Mediterranean experience.

The Citrus Tree Gardens does not have a beach, although it is situated close to Escape beach. This is a very popular private beach, with lots going on, including water sports and beach parties. The Peace and Freedom Museum right next to it, featuring a historical war memorial monument is great for sightseeing.
Also ask the receptionists at the hotel how to find Golden Sands beach, next door to the Deniz Kizi hotel, or the public beach at Karavanseray, which has a lovely snack bar.
If you fancy a spot of horse riding, there are several stables offering riding lessons in Alsancak, as well as in the neighbouring villages of Lapta and Karaoglanoglu. Most stables allow their customers to hire horses to take out in to the mountains and coasts which is a sensational experience.
If you are not going to hire a car, don’t panic. Just wait outside your hotel and flag down any of the local buses. It’s as easy as that! The vibrant Lapta strip, with its variety of popular restaurants and bars is just a five minute ride away – we highly recommend The Fly Inn if you are looking for a bite to eat followed by some lively entertainment in a friendly atmosphere. The Calamari Restaurant offers a wonderful seafood cuisine along with stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea.
Enjoy a freshwater, spacious pristine pool with a separate children’s section, surrounded by mature Mediterranean Trees and colourful shrubs, with a convenient pool bar at hand. Sunloungers, parasols and pool towels are provided for the use of guests.
Breakfast is usually served as an open buffet in the restaurant at the front of the hotel. The Pool Bar serves drinks and snacks throughout the day during the summer months. The friendly lobby bar is open all year round and Billy’s Bar opens when major sporting events are shown on TV.
The Citrus Tree Gardens Hotel provides occasional live music for their guests in high season. There is also a pool table and table football for guests to enjoy. Billy’s Bar is the ideal place to catch up with other holiday makers and to enjoy international sporting events.
