Set within tropical landscaped grounds, the Columbia Beach Resort combines luxury and comfort within a traditional Cypriot setting. The resort’s elevated position offers panoramic views of the stunning natural environment, with a backdrop of white cliffs contrasting against the bright blue waves of the Mediterranean sea.
This coastal property lies between the towns of Paphos and Limassol, near the ancient historic site of Kourion. Petra tou Romiou, which is believed to be the birthplace of the ancient goddess Aphrodite, is also close by. Guest accommodation consists solely of super-sized suites, all attractively furnished with carved wooden furniture and decorated in restful neutral colours. Marble bathrooms enhance the feeling of elegance with the majority benefiting from separate shower and bathtub. Each of the 169 suites features a private balcony or terrace offering views over the sea or hotel gardens. When it comes to eating and drinking within the resort, the Columbia Beach Resort boasts a total of six restaurants and four bars. Breakfast is served buffet style in a choice of two eateries, while an a la carte menu of regional specialties and fresh fish dishes is provided throughout the day. Barbeque meals and gourmet Italian cuisine can also be enjoyed. Chilled refreshments are readily available in the choice of bars located on the beach, by the pool and in the main hotel building.
Leisure facilities include the impressive Hébe Spa, which features a unique swim-through area, linking the inside and outdoor pools. It is also home to 6 treatment rooms, a relaxing hot tub, plunge pool, and fully equipped gym. The children’s playground will ensure the little ones are kept entertained.
A world of watery fun awaits in the resort’s Jacuzzi and swimming pools, with the aerobic room holding regular fitness and yoga sessions. Additional on-site activities include mini football, table tennis and Greek dancing lessons.

Plentiful breakfast buffets are served in the elegant Atrium or Baccus restaurants including delicious home-baked breads and fresh fruit. Classic Cypriot cuisine with an international flavour can be enjoyed in the rustic Apollo Tavern and Ouzeri eatery, while the Cape Aspro specializes in barbeque style lunches and evening meals. A taste of Italy can be sampled in Il Buchetto with its trattoria-style Italian tapas, with a fine dining experience available in Baccus. The resort has a total of four bars serving a variety of hot and cold beverages in both indoor and al-fresco settings. Eros Cocktail Bar is the ideal place for the pre-dinner drink, while the Seven C’s provides a cosy spot in which to enjoy a specialty coffee
Named after the Greek Goddess of youth, the ‘Hébe’ Spa is a real haven of tranquillity. Featuring an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool, there are plenty of opportunities for pure relaxation. A variety of face and body therapies are available, in the treatment rooms using the renowned ‘Elemis’ brand of products. The Spa is also home to an aerobic room, 2 squash courts and an indoor pool. Top-to-toe pampering awaits in the hair and nail studio while the fully equipped gym mean guests are able to keep up with their fitness regime.
