Sammy’s Hotel in Kyrenia is conveniently located in a relatively quiet residential area, close to the many attractions of central Kyrenia. This intimate hotel has just 24 rooms, all reached by a lift. It offers its guests a very warm welcome and personalised service. Kyrenia Harbour is one of the main attractions of North Cyprus and in approx.15 minutes you will find yourself in the midst of bustling shops, roof top restaurants, bars and local cafes to add to your holiday enjoyment. It is also a place of history and natural beauty. The castle at the east end of the harbour is definitely worth a visit. Within its walls there is a 12 century chapel showing reused late Roman capitals and a shipwreck museum, housing one of the oldest shipwrecks in the world.
Make sure you ask the receptionist if there are any concerts going on at the Kyrenia Amphitheatre. Sammy’s Hotel is only a 5 minute walk away, and it is host to some fantastic musical and theatrical productions. Also easily over looked is the new harbour. It is a quiet spot down near the sea, with lots of small boats moored up. There is a wonderful view of the Kyrenia Mountain range, it is a lovely place to sit and relax.
An attractive circular pool with a small separate children’s area as well as a convenient swim up bar can be enjoyed at Sammy’s Hotel.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant as an open buffet and dinner is set menu or a la carte. On BBQ nights, dinner is served by the pool. The lobby bar is open 24 hours throughout the year.
In high season, Sammy’s Hotel provides live music every week (payable locally) as well as BBQ Nights.
